Design Sofa Royèroid by Robert Stadler

Design Sofa Royèroid by Robert Stadler modern sofas and chairs. This collection is on display at Carpenters Workshop Gallery booth during Design Miami/Basel show in Basel, Switzerland. Royère trying to unify the various elements of a seat to form a unity which is more abstract. He managed to create a sculpture that is useful with ergonomic unbearable. With the series ‘Royèroid’ I pay tribute to ‘Ours Polaire’ this while continuing the search for abstractions. Presented as monolithic pieces thanks to a complex pattern covered them with a way of a computer-generated 3D-mesh (although they are entirely hand-made).

Details of the overall average as if the skin has been stretched around the elements of the previously separate. Diamond-shaped regions in different colors according to the front armrest and seat cushion of the original. They appear as a ghost reflection area, in Royère, needed stitches or making a separate element. fabric used for ‘Royèroids’ has been selected by referring to ‘Ours Polaire series’ that Royère using feathered textiles and very soft. Is far more flush than the original, with a touch of suede like that have the same magnetic attraction on its users.
